How porcelain veneers can change your smile.

August 11, 2016

When considering cosmetic dentistry most people want to change at least one of the following three things:

•         The colour of their teeth

•         The position of their teeth

•         The shape of their teeth

When designing a new smile, we take all of these factors into account. Using digital design technologies, we can design a smile that suits your wants and needs, whilst also making sure your new smile suits your face shape and looks as natural as possible.

There are a variety of treatments on offer to solve the most common of your smile concerns, and our highly experienced dentists will recommend which treatment would be most suited to you.

If the colour of your enamel is your only issue, then teeth whitening may be the answer. If the position of your teeth is your only concern, then orthodontics may be a better alternative. If you want just minor changes to the shape of your teeth, then composite bonding might be more suitable. However if you want whiter, brighter, glossier, straighter teeth with improved shape and position within 3 weeks and you are happy to have minimal preparation and possibly replace your restorations every 10-15 years, then porcelain veneers could be the treatment of choice for you.

Porcelain veneers are wafer thin and are bonded to the front surface of your natural tooth and are custom made to fit and suit you.

One of our patients, Emma, had porcelain veneers fitted after her teeth failed to respond to teeth whitening treatment.

Celebrities like Megan Fox and Cheryl Cole have improved their smiles with the help of porcelain veneers.
